5 Trends That Should've Stayed in 2013

I decided to do something a little bit different on my blog because it is something that has been on my mind for a while, London Fashion Week is over and I am so excited about the 2014 Autumn/Winter collections. Anyway, I decided to call out those trends that seem to have made their way through 2013 and trends that I am tired of seeing.

ALSO… I should add, I may be guilty of at some point liking or even wearing some of them (Oh the horror).

Cut Out Dress

This one started off with good intentions, and the idea was actually really sexy and brave but with all the red carpet mishaps and the fact that I cannot seem to find a dress on the high street that isn't full of holes, I think it is time to let this trend go

Crop Tops
There is a way to do crop top and a way not to do crop top.

Super Short Shorts
That should be a tongue twister right? I am sick and tired of seeing girls' behind peak out from their shorts especially if the shorts look like it was cut by a child with a blunt pair of scissors.
I mean Beyonce did it in that Flawless video and I love Beyonce but even then it wasn't cute

Leather Everything
A little bit of leather is cute and can add an edge to any outfit but you should not look like you're going to a bondage party
And above all else, your leather should not be looking like you spilled baby oil on it. I know high-shine and metallic is in this season but there's leather and there's PVC.

Religious Iconography
It's been done, its tired...leave it in 2013 please

I must admit, I have occasionally thought this looked good on some girls whilst scrolling through Tumblr. However, unless you're going to a Halloween party where you're dressed as a cast member from Fifty shades of Grey, its best to avoid this one.
